Every story has a beginning — ours started in Berlin.

Steffen was in the city attending the Human Rights Film Festival, and Amina happened to be there too. Across a crowded room, we caught each other’s eye — one of those moments that feels both unexpected and inevitable.

We spent the rest of the evening talking, laughing, and realizing how much we had in common. By the end of the night, Steffen asked Amina to dinner — and from that day on, we were inseparable.

What began as a chance encounter quickly became something much deeper. We talked for hours every day, discovering new corners of each other’s world and building a connection that felt like home.

Together, we’ve wandered through Milan, Valencia, Marbella, and the coast of Portugal — collecting memories and stories. We made our first home together in Berlin, a city full of energy and creativity, before eventually moving north to Jeløy, Norway — a peaceful island 30 minutes outside Oslo, surrounded by sea and forest.

Now, two years later, we’re not just partners but best friends — ready to take the next step in our journey. We can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter with all of you, surrounded by the people we love most.
